Senior Software Engineering Lead - Mainframe Cloud Migration

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities: Analyze business requirements to develop Data Visualizations and Dashboards for Health Care and Reporting systems Be able to conduct Scrum ceremonies Provide support for Application Maintenance, New Development support Resolve production issues by code debugging, analyze logs, perform reverse engineering to find the root cause and suggest permanent fix within SLA (Service Level Agreement) Be available for production deployments/troubleshooting during off hours/weekends Required Qualifications: Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience 7+ years of experience with Mainframe Technologies (JCL, COBOL, DB2, CICS, VSAM) 7+ years of experience with DB - Any RDBMS - DB2, No SQL 4+ years with Performance techniques, Tuning requests 4+ years of experience with APIs 3+ years with Cloud Experience (MF - Migration Experience) 3+ years with DevOps Tools & techniques Solid experience of operating in a quickly changing environment and driving technological innovation to meet business requirement Experience with Agile, Scrum and Kanban principles Experience in the healthcare industry Experience with Rally/Agile tools Mainframe DevOps Engineer experience Experience with End-to-End Project handling Experience with Mainframe Migration Projects to Cloud Solid understanding of software engineering processes: Design patterns, algorithms, data structures, schemas and queries, system design, unit testing, code reviews, agile and dev-ops Exposure to Cloud Proven track record of building relationships across cross-functional teams Proven excellent time management, communication, decision making, and presentation skills Demonstrated ability to manage code migration through the various stages for the release. Demonstrated ability to establish repeatable processes, best practices and implement version control software, automated testing and deployment Flexible to work in different shifts and ability to take the on-call responsibility in rotation.
