What youll do... About Team This individual will work on e-commerce personalization systems, using both synchronous and asynchronous services. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in building scalable, predictable, high-quality, and high-performance distributed systems and backend services. What You Will Do Design, develop, and implement distributed systems and back-end services for our e-commerce platforms, focusing on personalization, scalability, and user experience. Work on synchronous and asynchronous services, ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability while ensuring application security. Foster a culture of continuous improvement in data strategy and architecture. Participate in code and design reviews to maintain high development standards. Provide technical guidance and coaching to the development team. Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. What You Will Bring Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven work experience in software development, with an emphasis on distributed systems and backend services. Experience with e-commerce systems, personalization technologies, and synchronous/asynchronous services. Expertise in various programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or similar. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git. Strong knowledge of data structures, system design, and algorithms. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure. Minimum Qualifications:Option 1: Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or related area and 3years experience in software engineering or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company. Option 2: 5 years experience in software engineering or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company. Preferred Qualifications... Certification in Security+, GISF, CISSP, CCSP, or GSEC, Master s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or related area and 1 year s experience leading information security or cybersecurity projects Information Technology - CISCO Certification - Certification
