Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Cloud Engineer at Synamedia, you will be a key part of the Cloud development group in Bangalore, responsible for building and maintaining Synamedia GO product and Infinite suite of solutions. Your role will involve designing, developing, and deploying scalable and distributed microservices in an Agile DevOps environment for the next generation of products in the domain of Video streaming. - Conduct technology evaluations, develop proof of concepts, and design Cloud distributed microservices features - Collaborate with the development team to build and manage microservices for the platform - Lead the design and development of services, overseeing the work of junior team members - Analyze product and customer requirements, suggest new ideas, and map solutions accordingly - Develop high-quality software in a collaborative environment with a focus on continuous deployment and automated testing - Support and manage Cloud operations ensuring continuous availability, durability, and uptime - Introduce new Cloud technologies and tools to the team for development, testing, and deployment optimization - Drive improvements in the product based on quality and stability, and develop tools for efficiency and automation - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent with at least 5 years of industry experience - Experience in cloud design, development, deployment, and high-scale systems - Proficiency in Microservices development, RESTful APIs, and technologies like NodeJS, Java, GoLang - Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, ECS, ELB, Route53, CloudWatch, etc. - Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and tools like Git, Jenkins, and Terraform - Experience with monitoring tools like Elasticsearch, Prometheus, Grafana, etc. - Strong networking fundamentals and experience with databases like RDS, MySQL, MongoDB, etc. (Note: Omitted Additional Company Details as it was not present in the provided Job Description),
