Senior Software Engineer - ServiceNow

As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for developing, configuring, and customizing the platform to meet business requirements. Your role will involve translating user stories into functional code on the NOW platform, with modules including S2P, HRSD, and FSO. Additionally, you will need to have a good understanding of configuring both out-of-the-box and custom functionality within the NOW platform. Unit testing of the constructed code through appropriate test cases and staying updated with technology trends in NOW are also key responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Translate User stories into functional code on the NOW platform. Modules include S2P, HRSD, and FSO. - Have a good knowledge of configuration and construction of both out-of-the-box and custom functionality within the NOW platform. - Conduct unit testing of constructed code by writing appropriate unit test cases. - Stay abreast of technology trends in NOW to ensure knowledge edge. Qualifications Required: - Overall experience of 7+ years. - Strong proficiency in JavaScript and practical exposure to the ServiceNow platform. - Relevant exposure (at least 2+ years) to the NOW platform and 4+ years in NOW through technical development involving scripting, workflows, and integrations. - Abundant experience in all phases of SDLC. - Good analytical skills and aptitude for newer business solutions. - Sound knowledge of integration techniques using Rest APIs and Integration Hub. Knowledge of portal development is essential. - Exposure to the latest technologies like NowAssist. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with involvement in the requirements gathering phase.
