As a Technical Product Support Engineer in the Product Analysis and Customer Support (PACS) team, your primary responsibility will be to provide technical support for Temenos Suite of products encompassing Quantum & Infinity. You will play a crucial role in understanding and analyzing the details of the tickets raised by clients, ensuring the completeness of information, and collecting additional data if necessary to investigate the issues thoroughly. When you identify a bug, your task will involve comprehensive documentation, including a detailed product analysis of the defect, outlining the root cause, and proposing potential resolutions. Your insights will be invaluable in assisting the Development team in effectively addressing and testing the problems. For non-defect issues, you will educate clients on appropriate procedures to navigate the scenarios and meet their requirements. Moreover, you will act as a technical reference point during software implementation and upgrades, offering guidance and support to client IT teams. Your role will also involve developing and enhancing tools to streamline the analysis process and enhance customer experience. Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, along with proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and technologies like Java, J2EE, JSP, RDBMS, and Webservers, are essential for this position. A Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer sciences coupled with 4 to 9 years of relevant experience in software development and support is preferred. Prior experience in product/application support, as well as the ability to provide 24 X 7 support to our global customer base, will be advantageous. Additionally, expertise in mobile or web development, native mobile OS like iOS, Android, or Windows, and a proactive approach to collaborating effectively with both internal and external teams within Temenos are valued.
