As a Senior Software Engineer at Maersk, you will be part of the Transported by Maersk (TbM) Ocean platform, focusing on streamlining, optimizing, and automating container operations through advanced software solutions. You will join the Cargo, Capacity and Container Management team, playing a critical role in enhancing cargo space utilization, managing vessel capacity, and ensuring efficient equipment usage. **Key Responsibilities:** - Utilize your technical insight to develop high-quality software products with a continuous emphasis on business value and technical sustainability. - Lead the end-to-end development and deployment of solutions, ensuring they meet enterprise-grade reliability, security, and scalability standards. - Collaborate with your team and stakeholders to identify and implement effective solutions to business challenges. - Advocate for an agile mindset and good software practices within your team. - Conduct technical design sessions and code reviews, offering feedback and ensuring adherence to best practices. - Conduct root cause analysis of issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. - Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of engineering excellence. - Define non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, security, availability) and ensure solutions meet these standards. - Contribute to technical documentation, including design documents, architectural decisions, and development guidelines. - Evaluate and integrate leading AI technologies and platforms to create impactful solutions. - Define technical roadmaps and architectural decisions for AI platform and solution development, aligning with industry best practices. - Establish evaluation frameworks and metrics to assess the performance, reliability, and business impact of AI solutions. - Provide major incident system support through on-call shifts, ensuring smooth operations outside regular working hours. - Stay updated on relevant technologies and leverage this knowledge to drive the team forward. **Qualifications Required:** - Highly motivated software engineer with experience in C#, .NET, and Microsoft Azure. - AI-first mindset, seeking opportunities to incorporate AI into software components. - Expertise in design patterns, secure coding best practices, Object-Oriented Programming System, Microservices architecture, and Rest/Service-oriented architecture. - Understanding of multi-agent systems and distributed AI architectures, with experience in managing interactions between AI components. - Proficiency in modern AI/ML frameworks and tools like PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, LangGraph, or similar. - Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills. - Strong team player and collaborator.
