Senior Software Engineer (.NET 8, SDK, API)

You will be joining a team that is building a core cloud fabric and kernel to support globally-deployed cloud services for Autodesk's customers. Your role as a Senior Software Engineer will involve contributing to the development of an interoperability data platform that connects Autodesk products with third-party applications. To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and be capable of driving projects to completion. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing reusable components, optimizing systems for cross-platform environments, and collaborating with internal and external teams to build integrated solutions. **Responsibilities:** - Design and implement reusable and modular components for existing applications and services - Break down complex problems into smaller components and provide clear solutions for each part - Develop efficient solutions for processing large datasets - Write testable and maintainable code to ensure robust software - Monitor performance and availability using analytics - Create public-facing API and SDK documentation - Collaborate with internal and external teams to build integrated solutions **Minimum Qualifications:** - 5+ years of hands-on software development experience in C# with recent experience on .NET 8 - 2+ years of hands-on experience with AWS technologies and cloud service development - Proficiency in building and consuming HTTP and other APIs - Knowledge of multi-threading and concurrent programming patterns - Familiarity with container-based solutions like Docker and Kubernetes - Experience with build automation and CI/CD pipelines - Comfortable working in both Linux and Windows environments - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience with CAD, 3D, and 2D Geometry - Experience with desktop (Windows) centric development - Contribution to community-driven libraries/SDKs - Familiarity with Agile software development practices Autodesk is a company dedicated to enabling innovators to turn their ideas into reality, from green buildings to smart factories.
