Senior Software Engineer - Market Access

Role Overview: Qube Research & Technologies (QRT) is a global quantitative and systematic investment manager that operates in all liquid asset classes worldwide. As a Senior Software Engineer on the Market Access team, your primary responsibility will be to design and develop high-performance systems that drive the trading capabilities of the organization. You will be involved in building high-performance, low-latency C++ applications for trading, collaborating with various teams, writing clean and maintainable code, leading discussions on system design, and mentoring team members to contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes. Qualifications Required: - Experience in C++ development (C++11/14/17/20) and multi-threaded, high-performance applications on Linux. - Demonstrated experience in system-level architecture design for trading or other performance-critical environments. - Strong understanding of low-latency techniques, system profiling, and tuning. - Previous experience as a people manager or technical lead, demonstrating examples of leading engineers on different projects. - Familiarity with advanced debugging tools and performance analysis techniques. - Understanding of financial products and trading systems is preferred.
