Job Description

In this role, you will: Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments Contribute to large scale planning of strategies Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff Required Qualifications: 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. 4+ Years of experience in Java, Spring boot, Scripting, SQL Server, MongoDB Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices design principles, with hands-on experience in building scalable and resilient distributed systems. Excellent problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions to complex technical challenges. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts effectively and interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels. Prior experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with Agile methodologies, with a focus on delivering iterative and incremental value to stakeholders. Strong commitment to quality, with a keen eye for detail and a drive for continuous improvement in software development practices and processes. Job Expectations: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and guide feature implementation, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Champion best practices in coding standards, optimization techniques, and architectural patterns, ensuring high-quality code delivery. Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and advancements in microservices, and related domains, driving continuous learning and innovation within the team. Added Advantage - Customize and extend Red Hat Process Automation Manager (RHPAM) capabilities, leveraging JBPM, to address specific business requirements and optimize workflow processes effectively. Good to Have: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process optimization and automation, leveraging JBPM and microservices technologies to drive business transformation and operational excellence.
