Job Description

As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in iOS development at Mastercard, you will play a crucial role in driving the customer experience strategy forward by consistently innovating and problem-solving. Your passion for the customer experience journey, coupled with high motivation, intellectual curiosity, analytical skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset will be key in defining requirements, designing, coding, testing, and delivering software solutions. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, coding, documenting, and testing components/subsystems to a high standard - Being solutions-oriented to find and implement the best-fit solutions within the specified time frame - Assisting in defining processes and selecting development tools for the team - Interpreting technical specifications to create detailed designs with future extensions in mind - Conducting functional and performance testing of solutions - Ensuring code maintainability and tracking in version control system - Providing task estimates and assessing complexity levels - Contributing to project scheduling and ensuring timely execution of tasks - Sharing knowledge of various technologies with team members and other functions Qualifications preferred for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline - Advanced knowledge of native iOS development (Swift/Objective-C/Swift UI) - Experience in interfacing with RESTful services and integrating 3rd Party SDKs - Proficiency in design principles, patterns, and practices - Extensive experience in custom UI design, animations, and interactions - Implementing security requirements for tap-on-phone solutions - Ability to work self-directed with a strong sense of responsibility - Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset - Comfortable collaborating with UX, Visual, and Motion Designers Desirable skills/experience: - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies - Exposure to both start-up and corporate environments - Knowledge of common Xcode tooling (fastlane, xcodebuild, command line scripting, frameworks, swift package manager, etc.) - Developing for various form factors (Mobile, Tablet, Watch, TV, Auto, Smart Display, Kiosk) - Experience with cloud computing platforms - Adaptability in technology and tool choices - Excellent communication and interaction skills In addition, as a member of the Mastercard team, you are expected to adhere to the organization's security policies and practices, maintain the confidentiality and integrity of accessed information, report any suspected security violations or breaches, and complete all mandatory security trainings as per Mastercard's guidelines.,
