Senior Software Engineer - AI/ML

Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a Senior Lead Engineer to join the AI SW team and play a key role in advancing Artificial Intelligence technology across various business segments. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI solutions for Mobile, AR & VR Technology, IoT, and Auto ADAS using Qualcomm chips" heterogeneous computing capabilities. By developing and optimizing AI models, you will enable neural networks to run efficiently on Snapdragon platforms, impacting billions of devices worldwide. As a Senior Lead Engineer, your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions using Python, contributing to AI model development and optimization with frameworks like Pytorch, and building tools for onboarding and analysis of AI models. You will also participate in code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and debug accuracy and performance issues on devices. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to define and ship new features, leading and mentoring a sub-team of engineers, and owning end-to-end feature development and release are also key aspects of this role. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with at least 4-5 years of professional experience in software engineering. Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or C++, a solid understanding of fundamental computer science concepts, basic knowledge of AI concepts, and excellent communication skills are essential. Preferred qualifications include experience with machine learning frameworks like PyTorch, familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Transformers, and exposure to Linux systems and mobile development frameworks.
