Senior Software Developer - Automation & Platforms

Role Overview: You will be responsible for advancing the programming, configuration, and lifecycle management of manufacturing process controls, automation, and field instrumentation technologies. This role requires an understanding and desire to work with various technologies related to software system development. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and deploy process control applications utilizing Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition systems (SCADA). - Support capital projects by applying automation engineering principles in the design, specification, construction, startup, and validation of process equipment and systems. - Develop requirements, specifications, engineering documents, SOP, and operating standards. - Own and administer process control automation in a regulated manufacturing setting, executing managed process change requests per established SOP and processes. - Gather data and participate in technical root cause analysis, incident investigations, and troubleshooting on process control issues. - Design and test newly installed and currently installed automation-based process equipment, supporting new product introductions or technology introductions. - Apply standard process control methods and approaches to problem-solving.
