Senior Snowflake Data Architect

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and technically sound Snowflake Data Architect to design, implement, and optimize scalable data solutions using the Snowflake cloud data platform . The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data modeling, performance tuning, and governance, along with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to long-term data strategy and architecture. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage end-to-end data solutions using Snowflake . Define and execute robust data strategies aligned with business needs. Optimize Snowflake environments for performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability. Implement data governance, security controls, and role-based access. Understand and apply modern data management technologies and architectures. Oversee and maintain the organizations data inventory , ensuring accuracy and accessibility. Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Stay up to date with industry trends and continuously improve the organization's data management systems. Key Skills & Technologies: Snowflake: Warehousing, Snowpipe, Streams & Tasks, Virtual Warehouses SQL: Advanced query development and performance optimization ETL/ELT Tools: dbt, Azure Data Factory, Talend, Informatica, Matillion (any) Data Modeling: Star/Snowflake schema, SCDs, normalization Cloud Platforms: AWS (S3, IAM), Azure (Blob, ADF), or GCP Data Governance & Security: RBAC, data cataloging, encryption Scripting (Preferred): Python or Shell Version Control (Git), CI/CD familiarity is a plus Please contact me at nandhana.suresh@deliverycentric.com for additional details.
