Senior Site Reliability Engineer - Observability & AppOps

As a potential candidate for the role at Zenoti, you will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional Application teams to develop use cases into high-quality solutions. You will take ownership and accountability for individual deliverables. Additionally, you will contribute to the adoption of DevOps and DevOps architecture and design for various services in the organization. You should be a self-starter with the zeal to own things from Start to End with little oversight. Your responsibilities will include defining SLA/SLO/SLIs for application components, functionally decomposing complex problems, and understanding system inter-dependencies and limitations fully. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop high-quality solutions - Take ownership and accountability for individual deliverables - Contribute to the adoption of DevOps and DevOps architecture - Define SLA/SLO/SLIs for application components - Functionally decompose complex problems into simple solutions - Understand system inter-dependencies and limitations - Mentor individuals on advanced technical issues - Keep abreast of technologies for availability and scalability of distributed infrastructure - Serve as SME for Reliability trends and architectural concepts - Advise on implementing Cloud best practices and provide architectural governance - Troubleshoot, analyze, and explain complex system behaviors Qualifications Required: - 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering with exposure to DevOps/Reliability Engineering - Hands-on experience with monitoring tools like New Relic, DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana, etc. - Deep understanding of APM, log aggregation, distributed tracing, metrics, and dashboards - Experience with public cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Azure - Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform, Cloud Formation, etc. - Familiarity with Configuration management tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible - Knowledge of Cloud Security Principles - Proficiency in a programming language like Python and scripting languages - Experience in automating cloud native technologies and deploying applications - Familiarity with cloud native CI/CD workflows and tools like CodePipeline, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab - Experience with microservices, distributed applications, and serverless computing - Proficiency in debugging Windows and Linux OS - Experience with the full software development lifecycle and delivery using Agile practices Please note that Zenoti powers more than 30,000 salons, spas, medspas, and fitness studios globally, including renowned brands like European Wax Center, Hand & Stone, Massage Heights, and many more.
