Senior ServiceNow Developer (SAM & HAM)

As a Senior ServiceNow Developer specializing in Software Asset Management (SAM Pro) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM Pro), your role involves designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise-wide asset management solutions. Your deep hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform, CMDB integrations, and asset lifecycle automation will be crucial for the success of the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Design, configure, and customize ServiceNow modules, focusing primarily on SAM Pro and HAM Pro. - Develop and enhance workflows, business rules, scripts, UI policies, client scripts, and third-party integrations. - Implement automation for asset discovery, normalization, reconciliation, and compliance processes. - Ensure accurate ingestion and maintenance of asset data from various sources including CMDB, SCCM, JAMF, and Intune. - Maintain platform best practices to optimize performance, scalability, and maintainability. - Lead SAM implementation activities such as license model setup, software counters, entitlements, reconciliation, and compliance reporting. - Manage the full hardware asset lifecycle from procurement to disposal, covering assignments, tracking, and stockroom operations. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, architects, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. Key Skills Required: - 10+ years of ServiceNow platform development and administration experience. - Strong expertise in ServiceNow SAM Pro and HAM Pro implementations. - Proven experience in implementing software and hardware asset management best practices. - Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, and REST/SOAP web service integrations. - Knowledge of CMDB, Discovery, and integrations with asset data sources. - Experience configuring and troubleshooting MID Servers. - Familiarity with asset lifecycle processes, software licensing models, counters, entitlements, and reconciliation logic. - ITIL Foundation certification preferred. - ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) for SAM and/or HAM highly desirable. - Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
