Senior SDET (Core Java + API Automation)

You are a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with extensive experience in Core Java, Selenium, and API Automation. Your role involves developing and maintaining test automation frameworks for API and UI testing using Selenium, Java, and Karate. You will be responsible for writing, executing, and maintaining test cases for REST API automation, handling JSON files for API testing and validation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery. In this position, you will also perform SQL queries to verify database integrity, contribute to Performance Testing (PT) efforts, identify and track defects, and continuously improve automation processes to enhance test efficiency and coverage. Additionally, you will mentor junior QA engineers and promote best testing practices within the team. The mandatory skills for this role include 7+ years of experience as an SDET with strong proficiency in Java and Selenium, 5+ years of experience in Core Java, expertise in API Automation using REST and Karate, knowledge of Selenium WebDriver and automation frameworks, experience with handling and validating JSON files, proficiency in writing SQL queries for database validation, and basic knowledge of Performance Testing (PT) and its impact on system performance. Preferred qualifications for this role include experience in CI/CD pipelines and integrating automation tests, familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and knowledge of version control tools like Git.,
