Senior SAP Technical Consultant

As a SAP Technical Consultant with PPM Knowledge, you will be an integral part of a dynamic and motivated team working with international clients. Your primary responsibility will be to develop, implement, and support SAP Portfolio and Project Management (PPM) software solutions. Your key responsibilities will include implementing and supporting SAP PPM solutions for large multinational clients across various industries. This will involve analyzing business requirements related to SAP Portfolio and Project Management and providing technical solutions. You will also guide and coordinate with SAP development, functional, and non-SAP teams to deliver solutions to clients. Additionally, you will be involved in planning and coordinating SAP version/support pack upgrades and monitoring system performance for necessary improvements. Furthermore, you will be responsible for designing and developing UI5 apps for approvals and task management, as well as integrating them with SAP PPM. You will develop HANA objects like CDS views, CE functions, and SQL scripts using Eclipse, and apply SAP correction instructions, hot notes, SPAU, and SPDD during upgrades. Supporting application development efforts, conducting unit testing, creating technical specifications, and performing code reviews will also be part of your role. You will also be responsible for S4 PPM migration and supporting the organization's SAP PPM system. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP design and development, along with expertise in WebDynpro for ABAP. Experience in various aspects of SAP PPM functional area, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflow, HANA design and development, HANA CDS views, and API integrations is essential. Knowledge of FIORI/Gateway, HANA Migration/S4 Migration, distributed architecture, and additional skills in FIORI (UI5, JavaScript) and OData Services will be beneficial. Familiarity with ALE/Idoc, BRF+, Cloud Platform Development & Integration, Adobe Forms, Workflows, and CDS Views would also be advantageous. You should hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Strong analytical skills, process orientation, and the ability to work in a multicultural and global environment are essential. Excellent oral and written English communication skills are required, and knowledge of German language would be a plus. Ability to collaborate across multiple international time zones with offshore teams is a necessary skill for this role.,
