SAP Technical Consultant with PPM Knowledge Location: India – Full time Summary of Position The employee works in a dynamic and motivated team for our international clients to develop, implement and support SAP Portfolio and project management (PPM) software solutions. Responsibilities Implement & Support SAP PPM solutions for large multinational clients across various industries Analyzing the business requirements related to SAP Portfolio and Project management and providing the technical solutions. Guiding and coordinating with SAP development, functional and non-SAP teams to develop and deliver the solutions to the client. Planning and coordinating the SAP Version / Support pack upgrades with various teams. Responsible for the SAP system performance monitoring and acting if requires improvement. Designed and developed UI5 apps for approvals and task management and integrated with SAP PPM. Develop HANA objects like CDS views, CE functions and SQL scripts using Eclipse. Application of SAP correction instructions, hot notes, SPAU & SPDD during upgrades. Support the application development efforts, unit testing, create technical specifications, conduct code review. Responsible for S4 PPM migration. Develop, monitor, and support the organization's SAP PPM system. Requirement 8 + years of SAP ABAP Design and Development Extensive work experience in WebDynpro for ABAP. Expertise in Developments of SAP PPM functional area. Experience in Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflow Experience in years of HANA design and development, HANA CDS views Knowledge of HANA Native Views Attribute View, Analytic Views, Modelling and Procedures and HANA XS and Search experience Knowledge in various API integrations such as REST, SOAP, Odata & RFCs Experience in FIORI/Gateway Experience in HANA Migration / S4 Migration Experience working in distributed architecture Additional Skills in FIORI (UI5, Java Script) and OData Services is needed Knowledge in ALE/Idoc and BRF+, Cloud Platform Development & Integration, Adobe Forms, Workflows, CDS Views would be an advantage Ability to work across multiple international time zones with offshore teams as needed Qualification and Skills Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science/ Chemical Engineering/ Environmental Engineering, Chemistry/or Business Administration or related discipline is required Strong interest and aptitude in technology Strong analytical, process-oriented skills and ability to work in a large, multi-cultural and global environment. Responsibilities • Discussion with the client about SAP EHS requirements in Product Safety, Global label management and Dangerous Goods Management. • Analyze the business needs to Identify the system functional gaps in order to perform design, build and deploy the EHS solutions. • Troubleshoot the bugs in existing EHS Solutions provide workaround and permanent solution on time. • Train users in new business processes, transactional activity, and report execution. • Support end-users during project/change hyper care with respect to Specification Management, GLM, SVT, Phrases, WWI templates, Regulatory Content, Data migration and clean up. • Collaborate internally with other team members and customer team members on SAP EHS solution design and continuous improvement. • Create / update clear documentation of requirements to align with the solution over the project lifecycle. • Train internal colleagues for next level support and seek guidance from more experienced internal colleagues and be open to learning on-the-job. • Implement & Support SAP EHS solutions for large multinational clients across various industries. • Troubleshoot software and implementation issues, provide workaround and functional implementation guidance • Analyze the business needs of our clients to define process, functional and data element requirements. • Consult clients and provide guidance for best-in-class solution. • Develop and manage testing activities for EHS business processes. • Identify and document best practices of completed projects. • Manage project schedules, change control and change requests. Requirement • Minimum 7+ years of experience in SAP EHS, with focus on Product Safety, Dangerous Good Management and Global Label management. • Process Industry is preferable. • Knowledge of SAP PLM Recipe Development is added advantage. • Solid understanding of EHS solutions in SAP and regulatory content updates. • Agile way of working and adhere with business standard.
