Senior SAP Basis Consultant

As a Senior SAP BASIS Consultant at Coforge, you will be responsible for managing and administering SAP systems, ensuring optimal performance, handling user administration, planning and executing system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, implementing backup and recovery processes, troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining detailed documentation, and collaborating with other IT teams for seamless integration and operation of SAP systems. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and administer SAP systems, including installation, configuration, and maintenance. - Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation of SAP environments. - Handle user administration, including creating and managing user profiles and authorizations. - Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and enhancements. - Implement and manage backup and recovery processes to ensure data integrity and availability. - Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to SAP systems. - Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures. - Work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of SAP systems. Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Experience: 6 years of experience in SAP BASIS administration. - Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP BASIS, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems. SAP HANA experience. - Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Desired Skills: - Experience with database management systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2. - Familiarity with various operating systems, including Unix, Linux, and Windows. - Basic understanding of project management principles and practices.,
