Senior Sales Manager / Business Development Manager - Agency - Ghaziabad

As a Sales Manager/Senior Sales Manager/Business Development Manager, your primary objective will be to develop and manage the Individual Agency Channel (Motor/Health & Life) in the assigned territory while providing support to the existing partner base. You will report to the Area Sales Manager/Cluster Manager. Your key responsibilities will include Agency Channel Development, which involves sourcing POS Agents according to the agreed mix and policy, coordinating with the Operations team for pre-licensing, training, and licensing, conducting induction training, maintaining a mix of new and existing agents/POS, and strategizing to reach various market segments. Additionally, you will be responsible for Agency Channel Management by monitoring agent performance, maintaining high active POS percentages, controlling attrition, ensuring team and POS productivity, and managing channel engagement levels. Channel Servicing will involve reconciling partner accounts, coordinating with different departments, and focusing on profitability by analyzing market dynamics, managing loss ratios, and providing feedback for internal improvements. Compliance & Hygiene will be crucial, as you must ensure compliance with external bodies, internal compliance, manage cheque bounce recovery, and handle business pendency effectively. The ideal candidate for this role should have prior experience in agency sales within the insurance sector.
