Senior Robotics Sensory and Navigation Engineer

Job Description:Tasks / Responsibilities:.Selection of right hardware and do a robotic product prototyping..Designs and drafts the requirements and scope of the robotic project, develops the required engineering calculations, specifications, design constraints, performance demands and related specifications..Draft Blueprints, sketches, proposed ideas, concept models to develop constructs, configures and tests robotic prototypes..Ensure safety and security by design..Maintains documentation of development process, modifications, maintenance requirements, and other data.. Technically lead and drive the team..Assists with cost estimates and project calculations.. Take technical responsibility in preparing commercial proposal for customers..Maintains knowledge of existing and developing technology and trends in Robotics.Expected skill set:.Excellence hands on experience in Robotics, SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping), navigation, sensory technologies, sensor fusion, inertial navigation algorithms, indoor mapping and physics-based design, mathematical, analytical and problem-solving skills.. Working knowledge of Robotic Operating System (ROS) is a must. .Excellence in state-of-art robotics technologies, tools, platforms, navigation, sensory technologies..Proven experience in deploying software on Embedded Linux platforms like Jetson Nano/Orion, Qualcomm QCS410/QCS610 SoCs, i.MX 8 Series Applications Processors Multicore Arm Cortex Processors..Proven experience in sensory systems and fusion topics such as computer vision, lidar, radar, IMU's, etc.Industrialization experience is an added advantage. Able to understand interface implicit requirements from embedded products.Soft skills:Interaction with cross functional team (Local and Global)Responding to customer feedback/queries whenever requiredMust possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Must be a team player with ability to guide a set of technical teams.
