Job Title: Senior Resident Pediatrics Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India Qualification: MBBS + DCH (Diploma in Child Health) Experience: 0-1 years Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Pediatrician (MBBS + DCH) to provide comprehensive medical care for infants, children, and adolescents. The role includes outpatient and inpatient management, with an emphasis on preventive health, growth and development monitoring, and treatment of common pediatric illnesses. Key Responsibilities: Provide outpatient and inpatient pediatric care, including diagnosis and treatment of childhood illnesses. Conduct well-baby and child health check-ups. Monitor growth and developmental milestones, and provide necessary interventions. Manage pediatric emergencies and stabilize critically ill children. Administer immunizations as per national and international protocols. Counsel parents on child nutrition, hygiene, safety, and disease prevention. Coordinate care with other specialists such as neonatologists and pediatric surgeons. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation. Participate in health camps, school health programs, and community outreach initiatives as needed. Skills and Competencies: In-depth knowledge of pediatric illnesses, treatments, and preventive care. Ability to handle pediatric emergencies, including resuscitation. Excellent communication and counseling skills to work with children and families. Compassion, patience, and a child-friendly approach to care. Basic proficiency in pediatric procedures . Preferred: Prior experience in Pediatric OPD, IPD, or emergency settings. Exposure to NICU / PICU environments. Familiarity with electronic medical records and hospital information systems.
