Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Duties

Evaluate, diagnose, and manage dermatological conditions in OPD and IPD under consultant supervision.
Assist in dermatological procedures such as biopsies, cryotherapy, electrocautery, phototherapy, and minor surgical interventions.
Manage common dermatological emergencies and provide follow-up care.
Maintain accurate and timely patient records in hospital systems.

Academic & Teaching Responsibilities

Participate in departmental academic activities, case discussions, CMEs, and journal clubs.
Assist in teaching junior residents, interns, and nursing staff.
Stay updated with current dermatology practices, guidelines, and protocols.

Administrative & Compliance

Adhere to hospital policies, clinical protocols, and statutory requirements.
Coordinate with other departments for multidisciplinary patient care.
Ensure patient safety, infection control, and quality standards are maintained.

Eligibility Criteria

MD/DNB in Dermatology (Freshers eligible).
Valid Medical Council registration (State / NMC).
Basic knowledge of dermatological procedures and clinical protocols.

Skills & Competencies

Strong clinical acumen in dermatology fundamentals.
Willingness to learn and adapt to clinical protocols.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Ethical and patient-centric approach to care.

Work Experience

Fresher / 01 year post-MD/DNB experience.
