Job Description

The ideal candidate for this position should have a minimum of 8 years of overall experience, with expertise in React JS and JavaScript. The candidate should be capable of joining within a notice period of 30 days. This job opportunity is based in either Bangalore or Pune, with a work mode of on-site presence for 5 days a week. Our client, a leading UK groceries and general merchandise retailer, is undergoing a transformation into a technology company within the retail sector. The renovation of the technology landscape is a crucial aspect of this transition. As a part of this journey, we are seeking individuals who can contribute to the development of new applications for various departments such as Supply Chain, Product Lifecycle Management, Finance, and HR. The development process will involve working in an Agile environment, focusing on event-based Microservices architecture, in collaboration with the client. The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for developing platform components for modern, high-loaded applications within a Cloud environment. We are looking for a passionate and smart individual with a strong engineering background who is willing to work within a self-managed team, tackle challenges, and actively engage in their resolution. The candidate will not only address engineering tasks but also take responsibility for achieving the business goals of the technology company in partnership with the Product owner and business stakeholders. By contributing to the client's mission of becoming the top technology company in retail, you will have the opportunity to enhance your technical skills, expand your network, and share knowledge with experts worldwide. Key Responsibilities: - Active involvement in the design, prototyping, and implementation of consumer features - Developing new services from inception - Designing end-to-end features to enhance customer and employee experiences - Optimizing the performance of high-load systems - Adhering to best practices for clean and maintainable code - Participating in peer-to-peer code reviews - Incorporating innovative trends and frameworks - Engaging in a self-managed Agile environment - On-site presence at the client's office for 3 days a week Mandatory Skills: - 8+ years of overall experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior role - Proficiency in JavaScript, React, and familiarity with the latest standards - Experience with micro frontend development - Knowledge of SQL and non-SQL databases; experience with PostgreDB and MongoDB is a plus - Conducting Unit, Integration, and Acceptance testing of developed code - Understanding of GoF patterns and SOLID principles - Strong verbal communication skills in English Location: Bangalore Experience: 8-13 years,
