Senior R&D Engineer

As a Senior R&D Engineer at Ubisoft, your main responsibility will be to develop state-of-the-art and robust Automation Framework for game testing using your proficiency in C++ and understanding of C#. You will work closely with the Automation Team Lead to design and develop various tools and applications to reduce manual efforts and deliver high-quality games. Additionally, you will collaborate with different teams to understand requirements, identify quality control needs, and develop automation modules for various projects. - Develop software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes. - Investigate problem areas and work closely with Production team, Developers, Tools Group, and Test teams to develop automation solutions for game architecture and gameplay. - Write robust automated scripts for simple to complex scenarios and implement unit tests when needed. - Analyze execution reports, log product defects, communicate build quality status to stakeholders, and maintain automation framework and scripts with regular updates. - Develop tools and applications to enhance productivity in game testing lifecycle and collaborate with team members locally and abroad. - Contribute to knowledge sharing, brainstorming, and prototype development initiatives while demonstrating strong principles and practices in code development. - Document and demonstrate solutions through documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, code comments, and clear code. - Good understanding of software development and testing lifecycle processes. - Strong debugging and troubleshooting abilities, with knowledge of code review and code repositories such as GitFlo. - Excellent verbal and communication skills and flexibility in organizing work as per requirements. - Well-organized, autonomous, and willing to assist other team members. - Ability to work individually or in a team environment, open to feedback, and comfortable in a fast-paced, iterative environment. - Highly motivated, quick learner, innovative, and keen on learning new technologies.,
