Job Title:

Senior Manager Quality Control (QC)

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Leadership:

Lead the QC function to ensure raw materials, intermediates, and finished products meet internal and external specifications.
Establish and enforce quality control protocols in line with industry standards (ISO, GMP, HACCP, etc.).

Team Management:

Supervise and mentor a team of QC officers, chemists, and analysts.
Conduct training programs to enhance technical and regulatory knowledge.

Compliance & Documentation:

Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements from FDA, BIS, CPCB, and other authorities.
Maintain comprehensive documentation including COAs, SOPs, CAPA reports, and audit trails.

Laboratory Operations:

Oversee analytical testing using instruments like HPLC, GC, AAS, UV-Vis, etc.
Optimize lab efficiency, turnaround times, and calibration schedules.

Audit Readiness:

Lead internal and external audits, ensuring zero non-conformities.
Drive corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA) for continual improvement.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Coordinate with Production, R&D, QA, Procurement, and EHS teams for quality improvement and troubleshooting.
Review and approve process validations and method transfers.

Key Requirements:

Education:
M.Sc./B.Tech/B.E. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline
Experience:
10–15 years in Quality Control in chemical, pharma, or allied manufacturing industries
Skills:

Strong analytical mindset
Hands-on knowledge of modern QC instruments
Sound understanding of regulatory frameworks
Team leadership and communication skills
