Senior QA Engineer, Automation

As a Senior QA Engineer at Velsera, you will play a crucial role in accelerating the discovery, development, and delivery of life-changing insights. Your responsibilities will include: - Writing test automation scripts for back-end and front-end components following best practices and quality standards. - Building tools, frameworks, and infrastructure to support test automation. - Reviewing and validating application requirements to define test specifications for functional, integration, and performance tests. - Enhancing test case automation activities and staying updated with new testing tools and strategies. - Collaborating with cross-functional scrum teams and providing technical guidance on test automation. - Analyzing and addressing production bugs in collaboration with the development team. To be successful in this role, you should bring: - Over 5 years of experience as a QA automation engineer with a degree in computer science. - Strong understanding of software development, test automation principles, and experience in CI/CD environments. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. - Proficiency in UI Automation with Selenium, API Automation with RestAssured, and programming with Java. - Knowledge of functional testing principles and experience with testing frameworks like TestNG and JUnit. - Familiarity with BDD frameworks like Cucumber, build tools like Maven or Gradle, and version control systems like Git.
