Senior Software Development Engineer Test I/II (QA - WebAPI) At o9, we invest in people We seek talented, driven individuals to power our transformative approach You ll thrive in a dynamic, supportive environment, growing while making a real impact Our SDET team members actively participate and contribute for a full product life cycle process in an agile environment And work in a fast paced, multi team and multi project environment What you ll do for us Design, Automate and Continuously Integrate test cases from stories/requirements from API and UI perspective that covers all the basic, alternate and exception scenarios to deliver high quality product Identify test gaps and opportunities to expand test case coverage utilizing prior Quality and Testing experience Responsible for Functional testing and automation of web applications and applications integrated with Hadoop/Big data framework Responsible for automating the functional areas of the o9 Platform What you ll have Experience: Experience: 6-10 years of testing experience preferably with a product company Must have experience in software testing in the areas of SaaS microservices/ API Testing using JMeter Should have experience in automating UI using Selenium Desirable to have UI automation experience using Robot Framework Extensively worked on various Testing types such as Integration, System, Functional, Regression, Sanity, Smoke, User-interface (GUI) Testing, API Testing Hands-on experience with SQL and comfort in any 1 programming language viz Python(preferred)/Java Good experience on Continuous Integration Tools like Jenkins Experience with software change tracking tools in distributed environments preferably Git Good experience in the Supply Chain Management domain is desirable Education: Bachelor s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management Skills: Knowledge of PowerShell is desirable Exposure to Azure DevOps or similar software development life cycle management tools Exposure in Kubernetes managed public cloud environments is desirable Candidates should be strong in scripting and implementing automation test frameworks as per the business needs for a product Extensively used automated test tools like JMeter/Postman and Selenium for Functional and Regression Testing and involved with developing frameworks Should have UI automation background using Selenium WebDriver Exposure to implementing UI automation using Robot Framework is desirable Expertise in writing Test strategy, Test Plan Preparation and Implementation, Test Case Design, Test Tool usage, Test execution, Defect Management and Defect Tracking Execution of automated test scripts, JMeter based on business/functional specifications Carried out Continuous Integration with PowerShell, Jenkins Strong knowledge in web services testing via Postman/ Restful web services Exposure to Relational(SQL Server) and No-SQL databases like MongoDB, Redis Strong in writing SQL queries to perform backend data validations Characteristics: Passion for design, attention to detail, and a problem-solving mindset What We Offer Competitive Salary -
