Design, develop, and execute test strategies, plans, and cases for new and existing features
Analyze business requirements, technical specifications, and user stories to define test objectives
Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
Identify,document, and track defects using test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product owners, and business analysts to clarify requirements and resolve issues
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, planning, reviews, retrospectives)
Validate APIs, databases, and user interfaces for consistency and correctness
Provide leadership and mentorship to QA team members, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing
Contribute to the development and maintenance of QA documentation, templates, and standards
Proactively identify opportunities to improve QA processes and reduce testing time without compromising quality

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

8+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing roles
BTech.or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices
Proficiency in test case management and defect tracking tools (e.g. JIRA)
Hands-on experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI)
Solid knowledge of SQL for database validation
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Exposure to automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright)
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., GitHub Actions)
Experience in performance or load testing.
