Senior Python Full Stack Developer

As a part of the NY-based company providing services in the field of online education, you will be responsible for daily on-call support duties. This role involves participating in the on-call process to ensure continuous operational support by being available outside of standard working hours. The primary objective is to promptly address critical issues, incidents, or support requests to minimize downtime and service disruption. Compensation for on-call duties includes a daily allowance as a recognition of the additional responsibility outside regular hours. It is noteworthy that the on-call support load has been minimal, with only a single incident recorded in the past six months. To align with the client's time zone (EST), this role necessitates 3-4 hours of overlap with the EST time zone. The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following qualifications: - Back-end and API development experience in Python - Front-end experience with React.js - Proficiency in AWS technologies such as RDS, Lambda, and DynamoDB - Strong expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases - Knowledge of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum - Experience working on Linux-based platforms - Proficient in spoken English Nice-to-have qualifications include experience with Node.js or other programming languages and familiarity with Terraform.
