Develop and refine SIEM correlation rules and detection logic, leveraging threat intelligence to identify and mitigate emerging threats proactively. Lead proactive threat-hunting exercises, utilizing the MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat intelligence platforms to uncover hidden threats. Utilise threat intelligence platforms to enhance incident response, threat hunting, and vulnerability management. Incident Response & Digital Forensics Lead incident containment, eradication, and recovery efforts, collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the incident response lifecycle. Perform detailed disk, memory, and network forensics to pinpoint attack vectors and root causes, contributing to post-incident analysis and lessons learned. Extract and analyze Indicators of Compromise (IoCs) and adversary Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) to enhance future threat detection and response. Utilize incident response playbooks to ensure consistent and effective incident handling. Required Skills & Experience 6+ years of experience in a SOC environment, with a focus on Level 3 responsibilities. Expertise In EDR/XDR solutions (Sophos, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Microsoft Defender). Incident response frameworks (NIST, SANS, MITRE ATT&CK). Advanced experience with security monitoring tools especially logging and monitoring, SIEM, Security infrastructure Ability to analyse security logs and vulnerability scan results to identify suspicious activity and potential vulnerabilities.
