Senior Python Automation Tester

Job Summary:

As a Senior Python Automation Tester, you will be a technical leader responsible for

designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks and test

suites.

You will oversee quality assurance activities associated with software analysis. This

includes developing test plans,performing exploratory testing and executing

functional and regression testing.

You will work closely with the development team, production management and

support team to ensure the product is ready for release.

Responsibilities:

Automation Strategy & Architecture: Define and implement the overall automation

strategy and architecture, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and efficiency.

Framework Development & Maintenance: Design and develop advanced automation

frameworks using Python and related technologies, focusing on reusability and

extensibility.(e.g. Pytest,UnitTest)

CI/CD Pipeline Optimization: Optimize the CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing and

feedback, ensuring seamless integration of automated tests.

Performance & Scalability Testing: Design and execute complex performance and

scalability tests to identify bottlenecks and ensure application stability.

Test Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test

data strategies for complex applications.

Defect Management & Analysis: Lead defect analysis and root cause investigations,

collaborating with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

Code Reviews & Best Practices: Enforce code quality standards and best practices

through rigorous code reviews.

Technology Evaluation & Adoption: Evaluate and recommend new testing tools and

technologies, including AI/ML platforms and libraries.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers, developers, and

other stakeholders to ensure alignment on testing goals and deliverables.

AI-Powered Testing Implementation: Research, evaluate, and implement advanced

AI and machine learning techniques for test automation, including:

Developing custom AI models for test case generation and anomaly detection.

Integrating AI-powered visual testing and predictive analytics into the testing

pipeline.

Leading the development of AI-driven test data management solutions.

Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to

junior automation testers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and

improvement.

AI/ML Experience: Demonstrated experience in implementing AI/ML techniques for

test automation, including model development and integration.

Qualifications:

Education:

Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

proven track record of leading automation efforts.

Python Expertise: Expert-level proficiency in Python and experience with advanced

automation frameworks and libraries.

CI/CD Mastery: Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience with related

tools and technologies.

Performance Testing Expertise: Extensive experience with performance and

scalability testing tools and methodologies.

Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, mentorship, and communication skills.

Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the

ability to tackle complex technical challenges.

Agile Expertise: Extensive experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Cloud Proficiency: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly

desirable.
