Senior Project Engineer - Substation Automation System

**Role Overview:** As a Commissioning Engineer at Hitachi Energy, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and coordinating pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities for medium to high complex projects. Your role will involve developing and ensuring adherence to a detailed commissioning schedule, managing the commissioning team, and troubleshooting bay level secondary equipment for domestic customers. **Key Responsibilities:** - Act as commissioning engineer/lead for medium to high complex projects - Commission and troubleshoot bay level secondary equipment for domestic customers - Develop, deploy, and maintain bay level secondary equipment including designing hardware and software functional specifications - Manage commissioning activities to ensure quality, timely delivery, and cost-effectiveness - Implement design changes in commissioning and produce project documentation - Support continuous improvement of project process/product/system design - Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering - 6-8 years of experience in Bay Level control & protection Relay testing - Commissioning experience in handling retrofit and risk assessments - Knowledge and skills in Control & Interlock logics and functionalities - Knowledge of online, Transformer, and Bus Bar protection logics and functionalities - Familiarity with software such as PCM, REB500 HMI, and test kits like Omicron (CMC 356 & 256), Doble, and others Please note that Hitachi Energy values safety and integrity, and as an employee, you will be expected to uphold these core values by taking responsibility for your actions and caring for your colleagues and the business.
