Senior Progress 4GL Developer

You are looking for a Senior Progress 4GL Developer with 7 to 15 years of experience to join UST in Bangalore or Hyderabad. You must have a strong background in Progress 4GL development, PostgreSQL database programming, and working with n-tier applications & Classic/PASOE App servers. In addition, you should be able to identify and resolve complex technical programming issues, possess excellent communication skills, and collaborate effectively across teams. It would be beneficial if you also have expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, Progress OpenEdge Architecture, Java development with Spring Boot and Hibernate, JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js and jQuery, writing ABL automated test cases, and exposure to Unix/Linux development environments. Your main responsibilities will include developing high-quality, scalable, and reusable code while following best practices in software engineering. You will collaborate with technical and functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, take ownership of the development lifecycle, provide technical leadership to the team, contribute to new feature design and implementation, engage with customers on solutions, participate in code reviews, and enforce coding standards for performance optimization.
