Job Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY

Performs various activities related to the efficient and effective management of the Quality Information Science team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

General Profile

• Provides quality support, maintenance and enhancement activities for the Quality Information Science software applications (possibly complex), as assigned.
• Serves as a primary end-user support contact for the TrackWise software.
• Performs basic TrackWise administration tasks.

• Ensure commitments and timelines for Quality Information Science support are met.
• May support other areas of Corporate Quality as needed.

Complexity

• Develop, support and maintain key Quality Information Science applications.
• Solves moderately complex problems related to Quality Information Science (e.g., TrackWise, SharePoint, Power BI metrics, data and reporting).
• Escalate issues identified with Quality Information Science to Corporate Quality leadership when required.
• Makes decisions that impact the outcome of Quality Information Science related activities.
• Influences and serves as a key technical resource for Quality Systems and Analytics. Research and provide support for ideas and/or technical issues related to the Quality Information Science applications.
• Anticipate and proactively resolve technical problems, which may be moderately complex. Apply critical thinking to identify proper solutions to urgent issues.
• May lead medium-scale Quality Information Science related or Corporate Quality projects.

Supervision

• Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.
• Must be a self-starter and research potential solutions with little guidance.

Other tasks

• Represents Quality Information Systems team, as assigned.
• Performs other quality-related activities as directed by management.
• This position is not responsible for supervising employees.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS (please indicate if preferred)

BA/BS degree in computer systems / programing / data science or equivalent education and experience. Experience in a regulated environment is preferred.

Experience in support and development activities with TrackWise or similar workflow/quality management software.

Experience in supporting and/or development activities with one or more of the following:

• Microsoft Power BI
• Microsoft SharePoint, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Platform, Dataverse

Experience in Crystal Reports or other report writing software would be a plus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), email and voicemail. Strong numeracy and data handling skills. Above average attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational, interpersonal and team-oriented skills. Ability to act independently and pro-actively. Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines.
