Senior Power BI Developer

Key Accountabilities

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Create and manage Power BI paginated reports.
• Develop and maintain Power BI SSRS data models and cubes.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide insights.
• Optimize and improve existing BI solutions for better performance and usability.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all BI solutions.
• Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI tools and functionalities.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in Power BI and business intelligence.
  

Required Skills And Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2 - 5 years of experience in Power BI development.
• Proficiency in creating Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Experience with Power BI paginated reports.
• Strong knowledge of Power BI SSRS data models and cubes.
• Excellent SQL skills and experience with data modeling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  

Data Modeling

• Design and develop robust data models using Microsoft Power BI and other relevant tools.
• Ensure data model scalability, flexibility, and adherence to best practices.
  

DAX Development

• Create and optimize Power Queries and DAX expressions to enhance data models and reports.
  

Data Integration

• Integrate various data sources, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.
  

Reporting

• Develop interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.
  

Collaboration

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions.
  

Documentation

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of data models, DAX formulas, and reporting processes.
