Senior PL/SQL Developer

You are a Senior PL/SQL Developer with over 4 years of experience in PL/SQL development, possessing knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Python scripting. You will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining complex PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, and triggers for high-volume data operations. It is essential to collaborate with business analysts and data engineers to understand data requirements and implement efficient SQL-based solutions. Additionally, you will design and implement data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) logic using PL/SQL and Python, where necessary. Utilizing GCP services such as BigQuery and Cloud Storage for data integration, analytics, and storage will be a part of your responsibilities. Moreover, you are expected to develop automation scripts in Python for data ingestion, validation, and reporting tasks. Database performance optimization, code reviews, and troubleshooting PL/SQL issues are also crucial aspects of your role. Furthermore, you will assist in migrating legacy data processes to cloud-based solutions and adhere to data governance, security, and best practices. As a Senior PL/SQL Developer, you must have expertise in PL/SQL development in Oracle environments, a deep understanding of relational database concepts, performance tuning, and query optimization. Experience with large datasets, complex joins, indexing, and partitioning strategies is essential.
