Senior Platform Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Platform Engineer to lead the design, build, and maintenance of our next-generation, cloud-native infrastructure.
You will be a hybrid of a traditional DevOps engineer and an SRE, ensuring our systems are highly available, scalable, observable, and secure.This role requires deep expertise in Kubernetes, public cloud infrastructure, and a passion for automation.Key Responsibilities :
- Design & Implementation : Architect and implement scalable infrastructure solutions on AWS, GCP, or Azure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Pulumi.- Kubernetes Mastery : Manage, optimize, and secure large-scale Kubernetes clusters (EKS, GKE, or AKS), including service mesh (Istio/Linkerd) and GitOps (ArgoCD/Flux) practices.- SRE Principles : Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to define and meet Service Level Objectives (SLOs), implement robust monitoring, alerting (Prometheus/Grafana/Datadog), and logging (ELK/Loki/Splunk).- Automation : Develop and maintain automation scripts (Python, Go, Bash) to streamline deployment, scaling, and operational tasks.- Security & Compliance : Implement security best practices, including hardening clusters, managing secrets (Vault), and ensuring compliance standards are met.Required Skills :
- Expertise with one major cloud provider (AWS preferred).- In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.- Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.- Strong understanding of networking, load balancing, and microservices architecture.- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions)
