Senior Plant Pathologist

As a Plant Pathologist at our company, your role will involve supporting Field and Vegetable breeding programs in developing and implementing research goals. You will engage and collaborate with the Breeding, Product Development, and Sales team. Additionally, you will lead, coach, and guide a team of phytopathology specialists and technicians. Your responsibilities will include drafting and maintaining technical documents such as disease protocols, diagnostic methods, or best practices. You will provide excellent diagnostics services to internal clients and external customers. Furthermore, you will be establishing efficient pathological assays for various Field Crops and Vegetable diseases. Conducting disease and insect screening trials under artificial conditions and sharing the data with respective crop breeders will also be part of your duties. You will also be responsible for conducting hot spot screening trials at various locations and sharing the data with respective crop breeders. Qualifications Required: - Ph.D. or M Sc. in Plant Pathology, Entomology, or Agricultural Sciences - Minimum 5-10 years of experience Additional Company Details: - Theoretical and Practical knowledge of Plant Pathology - Knowledge and experience in plant fungal, bacterial, and viral pathology - Working knowledge of Molecular Plant Pathology - Must be a good communicator and collaborator,
