Senior PHP Developer

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior PHP Developer to design, build, and maintain high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in PHP frameworks, database architecture, API integrations, and backend optimizations. You will play a key role in planning technical solutions, reviewing code, mentoring the team, and ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain robust web applications using PHP and related technologies.
• Lead backend architecture planning, system design, and module development.
• Work with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony, or Yii.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs, integrating third-party services as needed.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with version control systems (Git/GitHub/GitLab).
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end integration.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean) and server management.
• Experience with caching, queues, cron jobs, and API authentication.
