Senior Performance Tester/Lead

As a Senior Performance Tester/Lead Performance Tester at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the performance and scalability of our enterprise applications and platforms. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading performance assessments such as load, stress, soak, spike, and endurance testing. - Defining performance benchmarks, SLAs, and KPIs aligned with business and technical objectives. - Developing and implementing automated performance testing within CI/CD pipelines. - Providing detailed analysis and reports to senior leadership to identify system bottlenecks and improvement opportunities. - Mentoring QA engineers and guiding teams on performance best practices and standards. - Acting as a thought leader on performance optimization and proactive testing strategies. To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications: - Minimum 8 years of experience in performance engineering/testing, with at least 3 years in an architecture or lead capacity. - Strong expertise in Neoload and proficiency in tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, and Gatling. - Deep understanding of distributed systems architecture, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Proficiency in monitoring and observability platforms such as Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic, and Datadog. - Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines and integration with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc. - Extensive knowledge of performance tuning for applications, databases, and infrastructure. Additionally, familiarity with networking, caching, queuing systems, and their impact on system performance will be beneficial. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills are essential for this role.
