Senior Packaging Designer

You are seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Packaging Designer to lead the development of packaging solutions. Your role will involve translating the brand identity into compelling packaging designs that stand out on shelves and resonate with consumers. You should have a strong portfolio showcasing innovative and functional packaging designs, along with experience in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. Your responsibilities will include leading the creation of packaging concepts from ideation to execution, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and market trends. You will provide creative direction, oversee the design process, and collaborate closely with marketing, product development, and supply chain teams to understand product requirements, target audience, and logistical considerations. It will be essential for you to stay current with industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to inform design strategies and maintain a competitive edge. You will also focus on developing environmentally friendly packaging solutions that align with sustainability goals, exploring innovative materials and processes. As a Senior Packaging Designer, you will manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints. You will coordinate with external vendors, such as printers and manufacturers, and oversee the production process to ensure design integrity and resolve any issues that arise during production. Ensuring that all packaging meets regulatory and quality standards will be part of your quality control responsibilities. Qualifications for this role include 2+ years of experience in packaging design, preferably in the food and beverage industry, a strong portfolio demonstrating a variety of packaging designs and innovative solutions, proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and 3D rendering tools, and a strong understanding of packaging materials and production processes.
