Senior OT Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior OT Technician who will be responsible for supervising and managing the operation theatre activities. The candidate should have the capability to handle and lead a team of 2 nurses and 2 OT Technicians (OTT) while ensuring smooth OT operations and maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, guide, and coordinate the work of 2 nurses and 2 OT Technicians.
• Ensure that the OT is well-prepared for all procedures, with necessary instruments and sterile equipment.
• Assist surgeons and medical staff during procedures, ensuring compliance with surgical protocols.
• Monitor sterilization processes, infection control, and adherence to safety standards.
• Allocate duties, prepare duty rosters, and manage staff performance.
• Maintain stock of surgical instruments, consumables, and ensure timely requisitions.
• Train and mentor junior staff on OT protocols, safety, and best practices.
• Ensure strict compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Operation Theatre Technology or relevant field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience as an OT Technician, with at least 2 years in a senior/supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of OT procedures, surgical instruments, and sterilization protocols.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in the healthcare/fertility/IVF sector will be an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
