Senior Oracle Applications Programmer

The Senior Oracle Applications Programmer role at ICU Medical involves providing support for the organization's IT applications, including bug fixes and enhancements to enhance overall functionality. You will be responsible for delivering services and support to business units on critical applications continuously. This position necessitates a solid understanding of SQL, PLSQL, forms, and report development tools, along with functional knowledge of Oracle application modules. Your responsibilities will include reviewing Helpdesk tickets, collaborating with Functional teams for requirement gathering, conducting unit testing on development work, and working on programming and development tasks. You will also be required to write and communicate test plans, SIT test cases, and UAT test cases related to supported development work. Additionally, you will partner with internal global users to understand their business processes, challenges, and objectives, and manage projects/enhancements by gathering requirements and finalizing solutions within specified timelines. The ideal candidate for this role should have proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, strong analytical and writing skills, a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent from an accredited college or university, and at least 9 years of experience in PLSQL, Forms, workflow, OAF, XML, and reports. Hands-on experience in SQL, PLSQL, forms, and Report Builder (XML, RTF, BI), as well as familiarity with EDI tools and mappings, will be advantageous. Experience in Oracle Application version 12.X, handling production issues promptly, and being a fast learner are essential qualifications for this position.,
