In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and APIs using C# and .NET Core. You will contribute to the design and architecture of scalable, reliable, and secure systems. Additionally, you will collaborate with frontend developers on integration points, and contribute to UI development using JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue. Your tasks will also include writing clean, maintainable, and testable code following engineering best practices, troubleshooting and optimizing application performance across both backend and frontend, leading code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and upholding high engineering standards. Moreover, you will participate in Agile ceremonies, backlog grooming, and sprint planning, while staying up to date with emerging technologies and proposing improvements to the stack. - Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using C# and .NET Core. - Contribute to the design and architecture of scalable, reliable, and secure systems. - Collaborate with frontend developers on integration points and contribute to UI development using JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue). - Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following engineering best practices. - Troubleshoot and optimize application performance across backend and frontend. - Lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and uphold high engineering standards. - Participate in Agile ceremonies, backlog grooming, and sprint planning. - Stay up to date with emerging technologies and propose improvements to the stack. To be successful in this role, you should have: - 5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer with strong expertise in .NET Core / C#. - Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices. - Familiarity with at least one modern frontend JavaScript framework (React, Angular, Vue). - Solid understanding of relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM frameworks (Entity Framework, Dapper). - Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices. - Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset. Nice to have: - Knowledge of authentication/authorization (OAuth2, JWT, IdentityServer). - Experience with event-driven architecture and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus). - Background in performance optimization and security best practices.
