Senior Native Android Developer

• We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Native Android Developer with 5 to 6 years of experience to join our team.
• The successful candidate will be an individual contributor responsible for the complete development lifecycle of Android applications, from initial design and development to testing, deployment, and publishing on the Google Play Store.
• This role demands expertise in Kotlin and Java, along with a thorough understanding of Android SDKs, architecture components, and best practices for mobile development.

Key Responsibilities:

• - Design, develop, test, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• - Independently manage the end-to-end lifecycle of app development, including feature implementation, bug fixing, and performance optimization.
• - Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product managers to deliver high-quality user-centric applications.
• - Prepare and publish applications on Google Play Store, including managing app versions, metadata, and compliance with store policies.
• - Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure application stability and quality.
• - Optimize application performance and responsiveness across various Android devices.
• - Monitor application performance post-deployment and implement updates to improve user experience.
• - Keep abreast of the latest Android trends, SDK updates, and best practices for app development and deployment.

Required Qualifications:

• - Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• - At least 6 years of experience in native Android app development.
• - Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java programming languages.
• - Hands-on experience with Android Studio, Gradle, and related development tools.
• - Deep understanding of Android architecture components, UI/UX design principles, and application lifecycle management.
• - Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and integrating backend services.
• - Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
• - Familiarity with publishing and managing apps on Google Play Store.
• - Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
• - Good communication skills and team collaboration experience.

Preferred Skills:

• - Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for Android.
• - Knowledge of Google Play Store review guidelines and submission procedures.
• - Familiarity with analytics, crash analytics, and performance monitoring tools such as Firebase.
• - Experience working within Agile methodologies.
• - Exposure to Kotlin Coroutines, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android development best practices.
