Senior Mobility Engineer - Xamarin/.Net MAUI

Description

• Design, build, and maintain advanced cross-platform mobile applications using Xamarin Forms and .NET MAUI.
• Develop mobile features leveraging Android/iOS SDKs, platform-specific APIs, dependency services, and native bindings.
• Create, manage, and integrate NuGet packages across Xamarin and MAUI projects.
• Work with RESTful APIs, JSON, and remote services for data integration.
• Implement secure data storage and cryptographic mechanisms as per app requirements.
• Manage end-to-end app lifecycle including deployment to Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
• Optimize application performance, handle multithreading, caching, offline storage, and memory management.
• Develop applications involving BLE/NFC, custom sensors, accelerometers, and gyroscopes.
• Collaborate with embedded systems teams when required.
• Ensure adherence to Android & iOS UI/UX best practices, device compatibility, and platform standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance application modules through benchmarking and optimization.
• Implement push notifications, cloud messaging, and secure user interactions.
• Work collaboratively with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  

Mandatory Skills

• Strong knowledge of Android/iOS SDKs, app architecture, and handling multiple device/screen formats.
• Expertise in Xamarin.Forms, .NET 6/7/8, and .NET MAUI for cross-platform development.
• Experience with native bindings, dependency services, and creating/maintaining NuGet packages.
• Familiarity with Visual Studio for Mac and cross-platform development toolchains.
• Experience publishing applications on Play Store and App Store.
• Strong understanding of REST, JSON, and backend integrations.
• In-depth understanding of UI/UX design principles and platform-specific guidelines.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with BLE/NFC handshake implementations.
• Exposure to embedded system integration (preferred).
• Strong understanding of cryptographic & key management APIs for secure data handling.
• Experience working with hardware sensors (gyroscope, accelerometer, etc.)
• Knowledge of open-source Android libraries and frameworks.
• Experience implementing push notifications and cloud messaging services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to convert business requirements into technical solutions
