As the Senior Engineering Manager at Greenlight, you will have the opportunity to lead the Mobile Engineering team in a high-growth, high-impact environment. Here's what you can expect in this role: **Role Overview:** - Lead and mentor a team of software engineers within the platform engineering group - Collaborate with engineering and product leaders to shape the technical roadmap and priorities - Enhance engineering tooling, processes, and standards to facilitate faster and more reliable application delivery - Drive process improvement initiatives to support team growth and product scalability - Provide guidance on security best practices for applications and platform infrastructure - Stay updated on technology trends and operational challenges to evolve application delivery processes and platform components - Make platform technology decisions based on performance metrics and operational SLAs - Recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent **Key Responsibilities:** - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent, master's degree preferred - Over 14 years of software development experience - Strong iOS architectural, design, and development background for platforms and cross-functional teams - Minimum 4 years of team management experience, preferably leading 5+ mobile app developers - Solid technical expertise in developing products, services, or platforms - Ability to instill a sense of ownership, accountability, and urgency within your teams - Experience in collaborating with engineering leaders and cross-functional team members - Capable of offering technical mentorship and guidance to the team Greenlight is a family fintech company dedicated to helping parents raise financially smart kids by offering innovative banking solutions.
