Senior MLops Engineer

As a Machine Learning Platform Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for designing data pipelines and engineering infrastructure to support our clients" enterprise machine learning systems at scale. Your role will involve taking offline models developed by data scientists and transforming them into real machine learning production systems. You will also be tasked with developing and deploying scalable tools and services for clients to manage machine learning training and inference efficiently. In this position, you will play a crucial role in identifying and evaluating new technologies that can enhance the performance, maintainability, and reliability of our clients" machine learning systems. It will be essential to apply software engineering best practices, including CI/CD and automation, to machine learning processes. Additionally, you will need to support model development with a focus on auditability, versioning, and data security. Your responsibilities will include facilitating the development and deployment of proof-of-concept machine learning systems and communicating effectively with clients to understand their requirements and track progress. The ideal candidate for this role should have experience in building end-to-end systems as a Platform Engineer, ML DevOps Engineer, or Data Engineer. Strong software engineering skills in complex, multi-language systems, fluency in Python, and comfort with Linux administration are essential qualifications. Moreover, experience working with cloud computing and database systems, building custom integrations between cloud-based systems using APIs, and developing and maintaining ML systems with open source tools are highly valued. Familiarity with containers, Kubernetes, data-oriented workflow orchestration frameworks, and the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements are important for this role. A strong understanding of software testing, benchmarking, continuous integration, machine learning methodology, best practices, deep learning approaches, and modeling frameworks like PyTorch, Tensorflow, and Keras are advantageous. The ideal candidate should have a total of 4+ years of experience and hold an educational qualification of BE/B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc/M.Tech.
