We are seeking an experienced Engineer Senior associate to join our athenaIT Finance team.

Position Summary

As a Senior Associate Salesforce Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the design, development, and maintenance of software applications, data pipelines, and web-based solutions tailored to meet the needs of our users and stakeholders. You'll collaborate closely with Business System Analysts and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that prioritize performance, security, and reliability. Your technical expertise will help shape engineering best practices and provide mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Engineering:

. Support the design, development, and implementation of software solutions, data architectures, web applications, and application features based on project requirements.

. Collaborate with BSAs, designers, and other engineers to convert business requirements into documented technical specifications.

. Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.

. Support our best-in-class Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) approach, including accurate effort and duration sizing of initiatives.

. Implement and advocate for best practices in development methodologies and SDLC processes to ensure high-quality delivery, continuous improvement, and alignment with organizational goals.

. Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.

. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability while ensuring security.

. Monitor and maintain existing systems, proactively identifying potential issues and addressing them as they arise.

. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

. Document development processes, code changes, and system configurations.

. Demonstrate strong business acumen and possess in-depth knowledge of the post sales processes to effectively align engineering initiatives with organization goals and drive impactful solutions

Typical Qualifications

. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

. Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in software development, data engineering, web development, or application development.

. Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, LWC, SOQL, APIs, Data Modeling, Salesforce Clouds

. Strong understanding of software development methodologies, data modeling, and application architecture and proficient in DevOps methodologies and tools.

. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.

. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, Bitbucket).

. Knowledge of best practices in software development, data management, or web design.

. Familiarity with various finance functions: cash application, recurring usage base billing, sales tax

. Knowledge of Salesforce CPQ, Billing, RCA, RCB
